Nathan Leamon, Derek Pringle, Steve Kirby, Richard Pyrah, Jonathan Doidge, John Barclay … get closer to the action in 2019/20 with East Riding Cricket Society.
- Mathematician and data analyst Nathan Leamon has worked at the heart of England’s Test and 1-Day sides since 2009. Now the ECB Lead for Research and Innovation, Nathan is also the author of two books – The Test and Hitting against the Spin: How Cricket Really Works.
- Ex England and Essex all-rounder Derek Pringle is a leading cricket journalist and author of Pushing the Boundaries: Cricket in the Eighties.
- Championship-winning Yorkshire paceman and ex MCC Head Coach Steve Kirby is now Assistant Coach at Derbyshire.
- Yorkshire all-rounder Richard Pyrah is now Assistant Coach at the club.
- Sports journalist and presenter Jonathan Doidge is BBC Radio’s new Yorkshire CCC commentator.
- Ex Sussex opener and former MCC President John Barclay is now President of the Cricket Society and the English Schools Cricket Association, as well as Director of Cricket & Coaching at the Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation.
Everyone welcome – no dress code, no formalities, just great cricket chat!
