Cliff reacts to action-packed opening day

Yorkshire fast bowler Ben Cliff was on media duties at Headingley this evening after taking three wickets with the new ball to help his county fight back with gusto on day one against Rothesay County Championship leaders Somerset.

Jonny Bairstow’s fine 79 off 111 balls and then a brilliant three-wicket burst from Ben Cliff were Yorkshire’s standout contributions during an action-packed opening day of their penultimate-round Rothesay County Championship clash with title-chasing Somerset at Headingley.
