Yorkshire County Cricket Club proudly now offers a wide range of cricket coaching courses, designed specifically to suit cricketers of all ages and abilities based at the Yorkshire Indoor Cricket Centre. Whether you are a young beginner eager to learn the fundamentals of the game or an advanced player looking to take your game to the next level, our programmes provide top-level training and expertise at the home of Yorkshire cricket.
Led by experienced Yorkshire cricket club coaching staff, our programmes are focused on enhancing technique, developing new skills, building confidence, and fostering a love for the game.
We offer a variety of courses, from soft ball camps for All Star cricketers to specialised spin and fast bowling sessions for those seeking technical and in-depth coaching.
Our winter courses take place at the iconic Yorkshire Indoor Cricket Centre, based at the world-renowned cricket ground that is home to the Yorkshire cricket team, Headingley. Participants will have the opportunity to train in the same facilities as professional cricketers. This inspiring training setting is a unique opportunity available through Yorkshire Cricket Coaching and its expert and experienced staff very much look forward to passing on their expertise to cricketers of all ages and abilities.
Our coaching team uses tried and tested coaching methods including video analysis, personalised drills, and modern training techniques to help players reach their full potential. With programmes for all skill levels, from introduction to hard ball courses to elite training for those aspiring to play at a higher level, our coaches are recognised and hailed for their knowledge and method of delivery.
No matter which aspect of the game you are wanting to work on, our Yorkshire Cricket Coaching courses provide a comprehensive pathway to success and enjoyment in the sport.
Summer Courses Available Now

Batting Masterclass
Our Batting Masterclass will include a mixture of hard and soft ball drills to groove technique. With the use of our Bowling machines we will put your technique to the test at higher speeds to aid further improvement.
- You can face up to our Merlyn Spin Bowling machine to begin your journey in building a strong game against high challenging spin bowling.
- All sessions will be sure to include the mental and tactical gameplay side of batting along with the technical.
The Batting Masterclass course will be on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th July and run between 10am and 1pm at the Headingley Cricket Centre. This course is suitable for those aged between 9-16 and costs £75.

Bowling Masterclass
Our Bowling Masterclass will look in depth at bowling actions with the use of video analysis to ensure safe and efficient movements, whilst improving overall skill level.
- Players will learn new drills and practices that can be taken away to work on at home or club that will be specific to their needs.
- There will be an emphasis on Strength and Conditioning to build speed, strength and physical robustness.
The Bowling Masterclass course will be on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th July and run between 2pm and 4:30pm at the Headingley Cricket Centre. This course is suitable for those aged between 9-16 and costs £70.

Otley Cricket Club Course
The Otley CC course will take place from Wednesday 30th July until Friday 1st August and run between 10am and 3pm at Otley Cricket Club, LS21 1HE.

You do not need to bring any equipment as this will be provided. Soft ball players are welcome to bring a bat and ball.

There may be an opportunity on some camps for hard ball practice (facilities depending) so you are welcome to bring hard ball batting equipment (bat, pads, gloves, box, helmet, thigh pad, cricket ball etc.).

Please bring a water bottle or sufficient drinks to remain hydrated throughout the session. There will be facilities on site to refill any bottles.

Please bring a packed lunch as there will be a supervised lunch break.

Please ensure that cricketers are suitably dressed for cricket training (whites not necessary). Trainers/t-shirt/shorts/tracksuit bottoms etc.

Girls Development Course
The Girls Development course will be on Thursday 31st July until Friday 1st August and run between 10am and 3pm at the Headingley Cricket Centre.

Coaching is tailored for players of all abilities aged 8-15.

Low coach to player ratio.

Make new friends and stay active during the holidays.

All sessions lead by our growing team of both female and male experienced coaches.

There will be opportunities on the course for hard ball practice so you are welcome to bring hard ball batting equipment to face up to our Bowling machines and Merlyn Spin machine.

Adel Cricket Club Course
The Adel CC course will take place from Monday 4th August until Wednesday 6th August and run between 10am and 3pm at Adel Cricket Club, LS16 8DE.

Hundred Camp - Includes Tickets!
The Hundred Camp will take place on Thursday 7th August and Friday 8th August and run between 10am and 3pm at the Headingley Cricket Centre.
This course will also include a match ticket to The Hundred match between Northern Superchargers vs Welsh Fire on Thursday 7th August at 3pm.

The Pudsey Congs course will take place from Wednesday 6th August until Friday 8th August and run between 10am and 3pm at Pudsey Congs, LS28 9BZ.

The Walton Park CC course will take place from Monday 11th August until Wednesday 13th August and run between 10am and 3pm at Walton Park Cricket Club, LS23 7DW.

Harrogate Elite Week
The Harrogate Elite Week course will take place from Monday 11th August until Friday 15th August and run between 10am and 3pm at Harrogate Cricket Club, HG2 9BP.





Our week of elite coaching is designed to help young players to improve their skills that are required to succeed in all formats of cricket, in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.

Drax Performance Camp
The Drax Perfromance Camp course will take place from Wednesday 13th August until Friday 15th August and run between 10am and 3pm at Drax Cricket Club, YO8 8NZ.





Our performance camp is designed to help young players to improve their skills that are required to succeed in all formats of cricket, in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.

Develop tactical and mental aspects of your game through matchplay practice.

Spin Bowling & Batting Masterclass
The Spin Bowling & Batting Masterclass course will be on Monday 18th August and Tuesday 19th Ausgust and run between 10am and 3pm at the Headingley Cricket Centre.

Burley Cricket Club Course
The Burley CC course will take place from Wednesday 20th August until Friday 22nd August and run between 10am and 3pm at Burley Cricket Club, LS29 7HD.

Hundred Masterclass - Includes Tickets!
The Hundred Masterclass will take place on Tuesday 26th August and Wednesday 27th August and run between 10am and 3pm at the Headingley Cricket Centre.
This course will also include a match ticket to The Hundred match between Northern Superchargers vs Manchester Originals on Tuesday 26th August at 3pm.
