Good morning...
From a sunny Clifton Park, where Yorkshire reach the halfway mark in their group campaign today.
Last year’s finalists Somerset are the visitors, starting at 11am.
While Yorkshire have won three from three and sit pretty at the top of Group B, Somerset have won two and lost one so far.
They’re captained by up and coming wicketkeeper-batter James Rew, who was in England’s Test squad for the early-summer clash with Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge without making the final XI. His younger brother Thomas is also likely to play today.
This is Yorkshire’s penultimate home game in the group, with an away trip to face Middlesex at Radlett to follow on Sunday. Yesterday, Middlesex chased 388 to beat Durham at the Riverside – the highest successful List A chase ever in England.
Via the embedded X post above, you can read our preview for this clash with Yorkshire’s general manager of cricket Gavin Hamilton, who has been speaking about the success of overseas signing Imam-Ul-Haq, who faces his former county today.
Enjoy the day.
