2025 promises to be a fascinating year on the field, with Yorkshire Men returning to Division One of the Rothesay County Championship under the leadership of former White Rose all-rounder Anthony McGrath. Having added exciting Australian all-rounder Will Sutherland to the ranks for the Vitality Blast and a couple of Championship games, and with a great mix of experienced senior players and exciting young talent, hopes are high that members will be enjoying a title-challenge this summer.

For Richard Pyrah’s newly-formed Yorkshire Women’s team, a season of great development is expected in Tier 2, before progressing to the top tier in 2026. As the first professional women’s team to play under the Yorkshire CCC banner, the recruitment of experienced players such as Lauren Winfield-Hill, Beth Langston and Sterre Kalis should complement the talent coming through the pathways.

Yorkshire CCC’s Head of Marcomms Sam Gascoyne said: “It’s great to see our membership numbers growing once again this year, ahead of what is going to be a really exciting summer of cricket.

“Over the last few years we’ve made some changes to our offering with a view to both ensuring we can provide a great experience for our long-standing members, as well as offering something that will be attractive to new members. The flexible options have proved a real hit, particularly for supporters wanting to enjoy short-form cricket around their busy lifestyles.

“Cricket is in the heart of our communities here in Yorkshire and it is imperative that we can connect with supporters and cricket-lovers from all around the county. The potential to grow the game, and use cricket to make a positive impact on people’s lives, is huge in this county and it’s something we will be focusing on in the coming years.

“I’d like to thank everyone that has already taken out a membership, and encourage anyone that has not yet done so to act now and join us for a great year of cricket across our teams.”

The membership early bird deadline is this Friday, 31st January. Supporters can save up to £10 off the cost of their membership by purchasing now. Take a look at the range of memberships on offers, including the extremely popular flexible option that give access to four days of cricket for £50, eight days of cricket for £80 and 12 days of cricket for £100.
