The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted to support Leeds Pride 2022, with a group of Yorkshire Cricket’s staff taking part in the parade.

Leeds Pride, Yorkshire’s biggest celebration of LGBT+ life, took place in the city centre today with the first in-person celebration since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Yorkshire CCC’s Chief Operating Officer Andy Dawson, who was part of the parade, said: “Yorkshire Cricket is delighted to support the Leeds Pride event this year.

“It was great for the city to come together and celebrate the LGBT+ community with a fantastic event. The music, colours and lively fun made for a very friendly atmosphere and it was great to see so many people coming together.

“We were really proud to be a part of such a wonderful occasion.”
