It has been a pretty productive and enjoyable first few weeks for myself, Harry Brook and Matthew Waite out here in Sydney.

We are playing grade cricket at the weekend and training on the International Cricket Programme (ICP) camp during the week with some other young county players.

We have all played a couple of matches so far and done ok.

Brooky is playing for the University of New South Wales and got 80-odd off 30-odd balls in an under 21s T20 game a couple of Sundays ago.

Grade cricket is a very competitive environment.

While Brooky and Waitey (Bankstown) have both started in the first grade for their clubs, I started in the third grade for Mosman and am having to work my way up.
