Northern Diamonds took three wickets in the last over to clinch a thrilling one-run victory over Central Sparks in a nail-biter of a Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy game which went down to the last ball at Edgbaston. 

“It was a good day overall, and it’s gone exactly how we wanted.” Centurion Fin Bean couldn’t have summed things up better after helping Yorkshire take control of the ongoing Vitality County Championship match against Glamorgan after two days at Headingley.

Dom Bess and Dan Moriarty got themselves amongst the wickets and centurion Fin Bean and Joe Root amongst the runs as Yorkshire returned a near perfect day two display to press ahead against Glamorgan at Headingley.
