The candidates

Lauren Winfield-Hill

The Diamonds opener has raced out of the blocks this season scoring 172 runs at an average of 57.33. With two half-centuries to her name so far, and some high-class glovework behind the stumps, Winfield-Hill continues to play a pivotal role for the Diamonds.

Hollie Armitage

Leading from the front, skipper Hollie Armitage is the Diamonds leading run-scorer with 176 runs at an average of 58.67. A hundred at Headingley during the second game was a fantastic statement of intent and another nudge to the England selectors.

Abi Glen

All-rounder Abi Glen has scored some crucial runs down the order so far this season, including a maiden 50. Her 92 runs have come at an impressive strikerate of 117.95 and Glen has only been dismissed once in her three innings. Alongside this, she has claimed five wickets at an average of 32.4.

Katie Levick

Consistency has been key for Levick during her professional career to date, and she has started 2024 in the same manner taking seven wickets at an average of 21.29 and an economy rate of just 3.8.
