Only 94 overs bowled, but we will make those up tomorrow.
Two wickets apiece for George Hill and Dan Moriarty.
Hard-fought day. Notts will be the happier you’d think, but their advantage is by no means an overwhelming one. Yorkshire fought back well.

Nottinghamshire 253-5, 79.1 overs
Jack Haynes lbw George Hill, 18.
Undone by one angled back into him, maybe even a touch of swing. Just the ticket for Yorkshire with the new ball due in a moment or two.
Nottinghamshire 250-4, 78 overs
Ishan Kishan, the Notts’ overseas debut from India, has just taken three boundaries off George Hill in the 78th over to move quickly to 23. New ball is going to be crucial to Yorkshire’s hopes of getting themselves back into this contest.

Caught at cover on the drive. Moriarty has two-for. Ishan Kishan in now for Notts alongside Jack Haynes, who has 15.

Nottinghamshire 208-3, 69 overs
Jack Haynes, on eight, has just offered a sharp chance to Adan Lyth at slip off Dan Moriarty, which goes begging. Would have been a great catch.

Nottinghamshire 186-3, 60.2 overs
Joe Clarke caught Matthew Revis bowled Dan Moriarty, 31.
Quite the catch. Clarke looks to go over mid-on and doesn’t get anywhere near enough of it. But it still looks likely to clear Revis. Thankfully, he back-pedals and sticks out a left-hand and takes the catch falling backwards. Superb.
Much-needed breakthrough for Yorkshire. Ben Slater on 76 is joined at the crease by Jack Haynes.

Just under 10 overs to go until tea, and Ben Slater has 72 and Joe Clarke 28.

The rain continues to fall
Looks like we’re going to have a delayed start to the afternoon session. It’s not raining hard by any stretch, more just in the air.
Lunch: Nottinghamshire 90-0, 32 overs
Tight start by Yorkshire, but Notts battled through it and have reached the break well placed.
Haseeb Hameed has 52 and Ben Slater 34.

Notts 23-0 after 10 overs
Haseeb Hameed has just driven Will O’Rourke for successive boundaries towards the end of the 10th over and has 15.
Tidy start for Yorkshire but lacking clearcut opportunities. There’s been the odd ooh and aargh from the slips but nothing significant to report.

Good morning...
From Trent Bridge, where the sun is shining and it’s another warm one.
Jonny Bairstow, Anthony McGrath and Mick Lewis are currently having a discussion on the pitch, which has a definite green tinge to it. John Sadler has also been out there chatting to his skipper and fellow coaches.
Yorkshire are aiming for their second win at the eighth attempt in Division One, having lost their last two against Surrey at the Kia Oval and the Notts at Headingley in mid and late May. They sit second-bottom at the halfway stage in the campaign.
Nottinghamshire, meanwhile, are aiming for win number five as they bid to stretch away from Surrey at the summit.
Will O’Rourke plays his only four-day game for the county, although the New Zealand fast bowler has had his stay at the county extended by a couple of games. Upon signing before the start of the season, he was only due to play eight times in the Vitality Blast. That’s now 10.
Notts will also hand an overseas debut to Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan, who replaces Kyle Verreynne.
