Gloucestershire chasing 282.

Gloucestershire 104-4, 25 overs

The hosts need 178 more to win this one, with Izzy Patel 16 and Chloe Skelton 12.

Things going nicely for Yorkshire as they pursue a fourth win in seventh to strengthen their bid for the semi-finals.

Gloucestershire 95-4, 22 overs

The Gloucestershire chase of 282 is in a quiet spell as they look to steady.

Izzy Patel has 14 and Chloe Skelton 6.

Gloucestershire 73-4, 16.5 overs

Bright 23 is ended, with Gloucestershire needing much more.

Katie Jones in now alongside Becca Halliday, 27.

Target is 282.

Gloucestershire 39-1, 10 overs

Claudie Cooper has just bowled her first over.

With spin introduced into the attack, this is going to be a really key period in the game. Gloucestershire can’t afford to sit in chasing 282. But the pitch is turning.

Yorkshire on the charge

Ami Campbell and Olivia Thomas, the former in particular, are looking to push on, and are doing so successfully.

Both players have had a bit of fortune. Campbell, for example, has four times miscued balls which have just landed short of fielders. But she’s taken advantage with some eye-catching shots.

She has 37 of 184-4 in the 40th. These two have shared 50 unbroken. Thomas has 21.

Campbell moving through the gears

Ami Campbell has just taken a four and a slog-swept six off Alice Hill’s off-spin to move to 30 out of 165-4 early in the 38th over.

150 up

Yorkshire 150-4 in the 36th over.

Ami Campbell has 17 and Olivia Thomas 7.

If these two can stay together, another 75 to 100 runs is realistic.

That would put Gloucestershire under major pressure.

Yorkshire 134-4, 32.5 overs

Maddie Ward lbw Alice Hill, 14.

Playing forward to the off-spinner, trapped in front.

Olivia Thomas in alongside Ami Campbell, who has 9.

Yorkshire 111-3, 25.4 overs

Amelia Oliver caught behind Katie Jones bowled Liv Daniels, 61.

Excellent innings ended, with Ami Campbell coming to the crease to join her captain, Maddie Ward, who has 1.

There is definite turn on offer here, and that should play into Yorkshire’s hands with the quality of spin at their disposal.

Oliver 50

Amelia Oliver has her maiden fifty off 85 balls. Excellent knock.

But she has lost her partner, Rebecca Duckworth, caught Caitlin Belcher bowled Liv Daniels, 15.

Caught at mid-off.

Maddie Ward in now alongside Oliver, who has 51. It’s 100-2 after 24 overs.

Oliver to 41

Amelia Oliver has helped Yorkshire to 81-1 after 21 overs.

Rebecca Duckworth has 8.

The White Rose pair are absorbing the pressure created by the home attack, with spin from both ends at present.

Leading edge to cover against seam, and Gloucestershire have the breakthrough.

Rebecca Duckworth in now.

Boundaries flowing

Yorkshire are 31-0 in the fifth over, with seven boundaries included.

Erin Thomas has five of them, Amelia Oliver the other two.

Thomas has 20, Oliver 9. The latter has just driven twice through the covers off Bea Willis.

Bright start

Erin Thomas has taken three boundaries off Bea Willis in the opening over.

Yorkshire 14-0.

Caitlin Belcher sharing the new ball for Gloucestershire.

Good morning...

From Bristol, where it’s another warm day. We have hazy sunshine at present ahead of Yorkshire’s seventh match of nine, against a Gloucestershire side who are also right in the thick of the race for the semi-finals. We get going at 10.30am.

Yorkshire head into today on the back of successive home defeats against the top two sides in the group table, Middlesex and Glamorgan. They remain fourth, holding what would be the last semi-final berth. But only just.

Worcestershire, Sussex and Gloucestershire are right on their heels.

Both counties have won three and lost three so far. Yorkshire (15 points) are two points better off courtesy of having won their three matches with a bonus point.

You can read our preview for this match, with thoughts from coach Rich Pyrah and all-rounder Ria Fackrell, via the embedded X post above.

Later today, we will also be publishing a feature on Yorkshire’s Academy and EPP progress ahead of Monday’s Under 18s County Cup final against Surrey at Kibworth. We will link to that when it’s up on site.
