Andrew Gale pulled no punches when assessing Yorkshire’s performance both against Kent at Emerald Headingley and Somerset at Taunton last week.

Coach Gale was speaking after seeing his side, set a victory target of 551 after tea on day three against Kent, slip to 44-6 in 22 overs before close.

The former captain praised Kent skipper Sam Billings for posting two hundreds in the match.
