Pakistan’s ongoing tour of England, consisting of a solitary T20I and five ODI games, is well underway.
The opportunity to play one-day games against the world’s top-ranked side, England, is a huge challenge for Sarfaraz Ahmed and his mixture of senior pros and up-and-coming youngsters. In addition and crucially it also represents a huge opportunity to allow the 1992 World Cup winners a chance to fine-tune their preparations for the tough road ahead, as they look forward to participating in the 2019 ICC World Cup in England.
