Yorkshire County Cricket Club proudly now offers a wide range of cricket coaching courses, designed specifically to suit cricketers of all ages and abilities based at the Yorkshire Indoor Cricket Centre. Whether you are a young beginner eager to learn the fundamentals of the game or an advanced player looking to take your game to the next level, our programmes provide top-level training and expertise at the home of Yorkshire cricket.
Led by experienced Yorkshire cricket club coaching staff, our programmes are focused on enhancing technique, developing new skills, building confidence, and fostering a love for the game.
We offer a variety of courses, from soft ball camps for All Star cricketers to specialised spin and fast bowling sessions for those seeking technical and in-depth coaching.
Our winter courses take place at the iconic Yorkshire Indoor Cricket Centre, based at the world-renowned cricket ground that is home to the Yorkshire cricket team, Headingley. Participants will have the opportunity to train in the same facilities as professional cricketers. This inspiring training setting is a unique opportunity available through Yorkshire Cricket Coaching and its expert and experienced staff very much look forward to passing on their expertise to cricketers of all ages and abilities.
Our coaching team uses tried and tested coaching methods including video analysis, personalised drills, and modern training techniques to help players reach their full potential. With programmes for all skill levels, from introduction to hard ball courses to elite training for those aspiring to play at a higher level, our coaches are recognised and hailed for their knowledge and method of delivery.
No matter which aspect of the game you are wanting to work on, our Yorkshire Cricket Coaching courses provide a comprehensive pathway to success and enjoyment in the sport.

All Rounder Performance Course
The All Rounder Performance course will be on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th May and run between 10:00am and 3:00pm at the Yorkshire Cricket Centre in Headingley. This course is suitable for those aged between 9-16.
The All Rounder Performance Course will cover all aspects of your cricket.
We’ll prepare your all-round game to ensure you’re ready for the new season, by utilising our 4 bowling machines along with Merlyn the spin machine for your batting, video analysis and current world leading drills for your bowling, or new innovative fielding practices to sharpen you up in the field.
If you specialise heavily in one particular area our experienced coaches can tailor the sessions to suit your individual needs.
T20 Masterclass
- Experience innovative drills and practices for batters and bowlers that inspire the next generation of cricketers.
- Build knowledge and skillsets that will fully prepare your game for the shorter formats.
- Coaching is tailored for players of all abilities that have hard ball cricket experience.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the specified start time for registration.

Bring all hard ball protective kit, as our Bowling machines and Merlyn Spin machine will be utilised in the sessions

Please bring a water bottle or sufficient drinks to remain hydrated throughout the session. There will be facilities on site to refill any bottles.

Please bring a packed lunch as there will be a supervised lunch break.
The T20 Masterclass course will take place on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th May and run between 10am and 3pm at the Headingley Cricket Centre.
This course is suitable for those aged between 9-16.
Adel Camp
- Innovative drills and games to inspire the next generation of cricketers.
- Coaching is tailored for players of all abilities aged 6-15.
- Low coach to player ratio.
- Make new friends and stay active during the holidays.
- All sessions lead by our growing team of experienced coaches.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the specified start time for registration.

You do not need to bring any equipment as this will be provided. Soft ball players are welcome to bring a bat and ball.

There may be an opportunity on some camps for hard ball practice (facilities depending) so you are welcome to bring hard ball batting equipment (bat, pads, gloves, box, helmet, thigh pad, cricket ball etc.).

Please ensure that cricketers are suitably dressed for cricket training (whites not necessary). Trainers/t-shirt/shorts/tracksuit bottoms etc.

Be prepared for any kind of weather (hoodies/tops/sun cream/hat). If it does rain during the camp each site will be open, and coaches will have activities to keep the players occupied.
The Adel Camp course will take place from Tuesday 27th until Thursday 29th May and run between 10am and 3pm at Adel Cricket Club, LS16 8DE.
