The Board of Yorkshire County Cricket Club has tonight agreed to recommend the loan agreement from Mr Colin Graves.
The club will be sending a notice to members tomorrow (Thursday 11th January) ahead of an EGM which will outline the details of the offer as well as the resolutions and rule changes that are required to be ratified by members at the EGM.
Yorkshire arrived at county cricket’s top table at the start of this summer with a trophy under their belts, winning the Tier 2 Metro Bank One-Day Cup last year. But you could make a compelling argument to suggest that T20 cricket was their strongest suit in 2025.
I mentioned in my last blog, before the start of the season, about one of my goals for the year being to start the season strongly. So to start with two red-ball centuries in the first five games is a really nice feeling.
