The Board of Yorkshire County Cricket Club has tonight agreed to recommend the loan agreement from Mr Colin Graves.
The club will be sending a notice to members tomorrow (Thursday 11th January) ahead of an EGM which will outline the details of the offer as well as the resolutions and rule changes that are required to be ratified by members at the EGM.
If things go well this weekend, and again in late September, Gavin Hamilton will have been general manager of cricket at Yorkshire and will have two Metro Bank One-Day Cup titles to show for it.
“I’m delighted for Rooty,” said Anthony McGrath, his Yorkshire coach. “He’s our best player, and also very passionate about England, so I think there’s no better man to step in.”
