The Board of Yorkshire County Cricket Club has tonight agreed to recommend the loan agreement from Mr Colin Graves.
The club will be sending a notice to members tomorrow (Thursday 11th January) ahead of an EGM which will outline the details of the offer as well as the resolutions and rule changes that are required to be ratified by members at the EGM.
“Don’t take away the winning side of things. It’s important, of course it is. But I’m looking at this from a big picture, long-term project point of view.”
Yorkshire head coach Anthony McGrath reflected on his side’s near miss against Warwickshire at Scarborough today and said: “We’re disappointed, but I can’t fault the heart.
Yorkshire were denied what would have been a third Rothesay County Championship win of the season, with Warwickshire batter Sam Hain steering his side towards the safety of a day-four draw at Scarborough.
