Job Title: Performance Pathway Phyisotherapist
About Yorkshire County Cricket Club
Yorkshire County Cricket Club is undergoing the most challenging time in its 158-year history following its handling of allegations of racism and discrimination. Under new leadership, the Club is committed to learning from the past and recognises that significant change is required to make Yorkshire County Cricket Club a place for everyone, from all backgrounds.
The implementation of a broad programme of transformation and improvement will allow the club to move forward. The Club is determined to strive for excellence – on and off the pitch – and to drive a positive future as a beacon of progress and restore the Club to its rightful place as the beating heart of English cricket again.
At the centre of our transformation is our EDI Plan which can be accessed here. We strongly recommend that you take a time to read the EDI Plan as part of your application process with us.
The Academy and the Pathways programme for the Northern Diamonds and Yorkshire County Cricket Club are an integral part of Yorkshire Cricket and the success of the club. We are invested in making our Academy and Pathways to be the best across cricket and to be an example to others. On the back of a successful 2022 season for Yorkshire County Cricket Club, with the Northern Diamonds winning the Rachel Heyhoe Flint trophy, our men’s 2nd XI winning the championship and various silverware for our age group teams, we recognise the needs of the programme are developing and we need to grow our workforce with a Performance Pathway Physiotherapist. This is an exciting and newly formed role due to the expansion of men’s and women’s cricket and the growth of our age group programme. You will work as part of our new, expanding, and forward-thinking Science and Medicine team to provide physio support to the players and help them in their development to becoming elite level cricketers.
