The Purpose of the Role
Reporting to The Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s (the Club) Chief Executive Officer, and a key member of the Club’s Executive Team, the Director of Operations will provide leadership and strategy to all aspects of Headingley Cricket Ground operations, including integrated delivery of facilities, venue management, stadium services deliver, ICT and health & safety.
This is a significant juncture for the Club as we seek to leverage the significant recent reforms, to now structure the Club for growth and sustainable success into the future. The Director of Operations will play a critical role in ensuring the Club delivers on its key strategic priorities aligned to the Club’s vision and mission statement whilst, alongside the Executive, help set the cultural tone rooted in the Club’s values framework.
The Director of Operations will define and implement the Operations strategy, budget and structure to ensure the highest standards of stadium operations, whilst maximising commercial opportunities and delivering operational efficiencies.
