Glamorgan win by four wickets

Glamorgan chase 173 in the 46th over, strengthening their position in second place in the table behind Middlesex.

Yorkshire are fourth in the table having been beaten for the third time in six matches. That may chance come the end of the day. Three matches to go as we chase a semi-final berth.

Ria Fackrell had an excellent day with 36 and three wickets.

Eve Jackson bowled Claudie Cooper, 8.

Glamorgan need 20 to win.

Lauren Parfitt caught Jess Woolston bowled Ria Fackrell, 49.

Parfitt attacks in a bid to reach her fifty, but she can only heave the off-spin of Fackrell to mid-wicket, where Woolston takes a sharp catch.

There’s still life in this game as Glamorgan chase 173.

Yorkshire 32-2, 7.2 overs

Amelia Oliver run out, 13.

Oh no, Oliver has gone following a mix-up with Rebecca Duckworth.

Duckworth pushes to cover, sets off and Oliver is stranded mid-pitch. There is a brief moment she thinks she can make her ground as the keeper fumbles the throw. But Abbey Freeborn at slip completes the dismissal.

Yorkshire win and bat

Good morning...

From Weetwood, where it’s a dry and bright morning ahead of our latest One-Day Cup clash with Glamorgan, which starts at 10.30am.

Yorkshire are aiming for win number four from their sixth match of nine in the group.

The end goal is to finish in the top four places in the group table. They currently hold fourth place.

Glamorgan are second having won four of five so far. A win today would all but assure them a semi-final spot in September.

Hannah Rainey is expected to make her debut having signed a two-year contract from next season, joining on loan early.

Scotland international batter Megan McColl is also in the squad for the first time.

Glamorgan have signed former Northern Diamonds duo Emma Marlow and Lizzie Scott on loan from Durham alongside Abbey Freeborn from Bears. The former two are on debut.
