Sun shining now
Much brighter scene here at Trent Bridge now, with the sun burning through.
Good morning...
From Trent Bridge, where it’s an overcast start to day two, which should get going at 10.30am.
Yesterday, albeit a bit fresh temperature wise, was a day in keeping with mid-summer. The sun shone throughout. Today has more of a late September feel about it.
A good batting day today will put Yorkshire ahead of this game, which resumes with Nottinghamshire on 242-9 and with Ben Cliff on course for a second haul of five wickets or more in three innings. After his eight against Essex in the first innings last week, he took four yesterday.
We spoke to Ben Coad, who struck twice yesterday, at the end of the day, with his reaction piece linked below.
The stream will be embedded at the top of the page before we get going.
Enjoy the day.
