Yorkshire County Cricket Club is pleased to announce two new signings on rookie contracts.
Isaac Bepey and Brad Sylvester have penned their maiden deals, each signing a two-year contract with the White Rose.
Bepey made his Yorkshire debut at Scarborough earlier this season during the Metro Bank One Day Cup, taking three wickets in the defeat to Hampshire. The left-armer spent much of the year trialling with Tom Smith’s Second XI, having first caught the eye playing for Leeds UCCE.

Sylvester, meanwhile, is the latest Yorkshire Academy graduate to progress into the professional ranks. The right-arm seamer has played two tests for England Under-19’s this year and impressed the Yorkshire coaching staff on the Club’s pre-season tour earlier in 2026.
The Huddersfield-native has been named in Anthony McGrath’s first-team squad on numerous occasions this year – including the ongoing game at Trent Bridge this weekend – gaining significant experience along the way.

Gavin Hamilton, General Manager of Cricket said, “These first professional deals for Isaac and Brad are testament to the skill and application they have both shown this year.
“Isaac has really impressed us since joining up with the Club, and his left-arm action gives us a variety that can be so important.
“Having plied his trade in the Bradford League since moving to Yorkshire, his emergence with our first team is part of our wider strategy to identify and nurture talent across the recreational game that underpins the Yorkshire cricket ecosystem.
“Brad is a really impressive young bowler and another product of the academy – we’re looking forward to seeing him develop over the next two years. The recognition he has received this year from England Under-19’s is a clear indication of his talent.
“As a coaching unit, we have always believed that a full armoury of fast bowlers will ensure we are competing consistently for major honours. Isaac and Brad complete that battery, and we’re excited to see what they bring to the group going forward.”
