1. Yorkshire County Cricket Club (the “YCCC”) and its authorised agents and distributors sell, allocate and issue tickets for events (the Tickets”) at Headingley Cricket Ground and North Marine Road, Scarborough (the “Venue”) only upon the Ticket terms and conditions and Conditions of Entry (the “Terms”) and where applicable the England & Wales Cricket Board (the “ECB”) terms. By applying for or purchasing or being allocated or transferred Tickets all recipients of Tickets (“the Purchaser”) shall be deemed to have accepted the Terms. For the avoidance of doubt a Purchaser includes a member and sponsor of the YCCC.
2. Tickets are strictly non-transferable and shall not be resold or transferred (save as referred to at clause 3) and shall not be auctioned, offered for sale, or advertised for sale via the internet or elsewhere.
3. If more than one ticket is issued those tickets may be used only by the Purchaser and the person intending to accompany that Purchaser at the Venue. The provision of the ticket to such a person without payment shall not contravene clause 2.
4. Tickets shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, company, agent or otherwise than directly by the Purchaser from YCCC or its authorised agent. YCCC reserves the right to refuse to sell to individuals or agencies suspected of intending to resell Tickets in breach of the conditions.
5. Tickets obtained in breach of these conditions shall be void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such ticket shall be nullified. This may include the Purchaser or holder of the ticket being refused entry or a cancellation of the ticket without notification. Any person seeking to use a ticket obtained in breach of these conditions whether used in order to gain access or remain at the Venue will be a trespasser and will be liable to legal action and subject to ejection.
6. Tickets may not be used as a prize, or as part of a competition, or in any promotional or similar activity without the written consent of YCCC.
7. Tickets may not be included as part of accommodation, food, drink and/or travel packages (the “Package”) unless the Package has been authorised by YCCC.
8. Tickets remain the property of YCCC at all times.
9. Tickets are only valid for entry into the Venue if presented complete with counterfoil.
10. Tickets issued are for the sole use of the Purchaser and if more than one ticket is issued to a Purchaser, the person intending to accompany the Purchaser in accordance with clause 3.
11. If original Tickets are lost, duplicate tickets may be issued to the original Purchaser up to 48 hours before the event at a charge of £5 per ticket. Duplicate tickets can only be collected from the Ticket and Membership Office at the Venue on match day, upon the production of photographic ID and take priority over the originals.
12. Under no circumstances may any person at the ground use a mobile telephone, computer or other kind of communication device either (i) to communicate or in any way transmit any form of commentary, data or other material in relation to a cricket match taking place at the ground for any kind of improper betting or other corrupt or unlawful purpose; or (ii) to conduct betting activity in a public pitch-facing part of the ground in a way which, in [the Club’s] (or its appointed nominee’s) option, otherwise brings the game or [the Club] into disrepute or which offends (or is likely to offend) other spectators.
13. When buying a ticket for someone under the age of 18 (i.e. a child) or a vulnerable adult, it is a requirement to ensure that the person for whom the ticket has been purchased will be accompanied to the event by a responsible adult*. In buying the ticket, you give your consent to the ticket holder attending the stadium with the responsible adult you have designated.
*A responsible adult is aged 18 or older, with the capacity to make decisions that are in the best interests of a child and actively supervises them.
14. Concession tickets for supporters under 16 years of age or over 65 years of age are only valid if the ticketholder is under 16 or over 65 on the date of the match for which the ticket is applicable. Under 16’s or over 65’s may be required to provide proof of their age to gain entrance using a concession ticket.
15. Cricket is against ticket touting – you must not buy or sell this ticket for more than its face value. Please see www.ecb.co.uk/toutsout for full re-sale/refund policy. All tickets are issued by or on behalf of The Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
16. No person who is subject to a life ban imposed and/or recognised by the ICC, the ECB or any other ICC Member as a result of a breach of any applicable ICC, ECB or other ICC Member rules, regulations, codes or directives shall be permitted to enter the ground and any such person found within the ground on the day of the match shall be liable to immediate removal from the ground.
17. Please note that the use of any cameras or mobile devices or any electronic equipment, for the recording, transmission or communication of match footage, details, statistics, images (on any platforms including but not limited to websites and social media) etc., is not permitted other than with the proper accreditation. All ground regulations apply.
18. Any person and their property are liable to be searched by authorised personnel on entry to the Venue. Failure to submit to any requested search by authorised personnel will lead to refusal of admission, and/or ejection, and/or exclusion from the Venue.
19. The YCCC reserves the right to change the advertised fixtures without notice and liability where it is necessary to do so and provide you with an alternative seat to that specified on the ticket. Every effort will be made to make the public aware of any changes via the media/social media.
20. If admission is reasonably refused for whatever reason no money will be refunded or compensation provided.
21. The YCCC reserves the right to change the Terms.
22. Tickets are issued subject to the Conditions of Entry.
23. Matchday tickets are non-refundable, apart from the circumstances described in the ‘Raincheck Policy’ section.
24. Any ticket booking fees charged at the point of transaction are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The Club Management reserves the right of admission to the ground.
- All Persons who have purchased a ticket or who enter the ground are admitted only subject to their acceptance of the below ground regulations. Entry to the ground is conditional on and will constitute unqualified acceptance of all these rules and regulations.
- All matches will be played in accordance with the rules and regulations of The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and The International Cricket Council (ICC) and their respective Laws of the Game.
- The Stadium Management reserves the right for its servants and agents to remove from the ground any person who does not comply with these published ground regulations, the Rules and Regulations of the ICC and ECB and whose presence within the ground is or could reasonably be construed as constituting a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to any other person.
- Play cannot be guaranteed to take place on any particular day or at any particular time and the Club Management reserves the right to change its advertised fixtures. Every effort will be made via the media/social media to make the public aware of any changes.
- Refund terms and conditions for matches played under the auspices of the ECB or ICC can be found on the reverse of the admission tickets or on yorkshireccc.com. Terms and Conditions must be strictly adhered to. Further information on domestic games can be found via the YCCC Ticket Terms and Conditions and the Raincheck policy.
- The Stadium Management reserves the right to refuse admission to or eject from the ground: a) any person dressed in a manner which is; i) considered inappropriate, offensive or distasteful; ii) considered dangerous either to their own safety or the safety of other spectators; iii) considered an obstruction to the view of other spectators; b) any person who refuses to be searched (including bags) upon entry to the ground/inside; c) any person whose behaviour is deemed a source of danger or annoyance to other spectators or individuals.
- Fireworks, pyrotechnics, smoke canisters, flares, knives and forks (other than wooden or plastic variants), bottles, glasses, flags, banners, poles, air-horns, musical instruments and other similar articles or any containers which might be used as a weapon or missile and could be a source of annoyance to others are not permitted within the ground and will be confiscated. In some circumstances, bottles, with the exception of glass bottles, may be allowed for County Championship and 50-over games.
- It shall be a breach of the terms and conditions of entry to the venue for any ticketholder to engage in any conduct (whether through the use of language, gestures, or otherwise) which is likely to offend, insult, humiliate, intimidate, threaten, disparage or vilify any other person (including players, match officials or spectators) on the basis of their race, religion, culture, gender, sexual orientation, disability, marital status and/or maternity status. Such action will not be tolerated. Action will be taken against individual(s) indulging in such acts and is likely to result in ejection from the venue, the imposition of other sanctions, such as being banned from the venue in the future and possible further action including criminal prosecution.
- Unauthorised persons are strictly forbidden from entering upon the field of play unless advised to do so in an emergency. Individuals entering upon the field of play without permission will be subject to prosecution.
- The throwing of any object in a dangerous manner within the ground is strictly forbidden.
- The obstruction of gangways, access ways, exits, stairways and similar places is strictly forbidden, as is standing in any seated area while play is in progress.
- The climbing of floodlight pylons, stands or any other structure within the ground is strictly forbidden.
- Unnecessary noise such as that from the use of radios, mobile phones, air horns, whistles, musical instruments and behaviour likely to cause confusion or annoyance to any person is not permitted in any part of the ground.
- With the exception of people authorized by the Club Management and press representatives holding official passes, the taking of photographs, cine photography, video footage or mobile phone footage inside the ground is prohibited. In addition, recording for radio, television or for private purposes whether for transmission or otherwise, is not permitted without any special written authorisation from the Club Management.
- Laptops are not permitted to be brought into the ground. Should you arrive at the ground with a laptop, and it is noted as such during the mandatory bag search, stewards will direct you to our laptop drop facility where this can be left and collected after the game.
- Under no circumstances may any person at the ground use a mobile telephone, computer, or any other kind of communication device to communicate, transfer or otherwise transmit any audio, visual or audio-visual data, information, commentary, footage or other material in relation to a cricket match taking place at the ground at that time (or any aspect thereof) for any kind of improper betting or any corrupt, fraudulent or unlawful purpose. Any person at the ground who is reasonably suspected by YCCC (or its appointed nominees, including but not limited for such purposes to the anti-corruption officials and any other representatives of the ECB) of acting in breach of this provision during any cricket match unconditionally acknowledges, accepts and agrees that: i) they must, upon request by YCCC (or its appointed nominees), provide their name and address and an explanation for their suspicious conduct (including full details of the nature of their suspicious communications); ii) they will be photographed and or filmed by YCCC (or its appointed nominees) and iii) any such names, addresses and photographs and films may be shared between each of the ECB, all other first class county clubs, relevant official cricket authorities and any relevant police and crime prevention authorities. Any person who is reasonably suspected of being in breach of this provision accepts they may immediately be ejected from the ground (without any financial compensation) and prohibited from entering the ground and any other cricket ground under the control of either the ECB or any first-class county club for life or such other period as YCCC deems appropriate at its sole and absolute discretion.
- In relation to the cricket match taking place at the ground, spectators are not permitted to use a mobile telephone, tablet, laptop or computer or other kind of communication device to either; i) communicate or in any way transmit any form of commentary, data or other material, for any kind of betting or corrupt or unlawful purpose; or ii) conduct continuous betting trading activity.
- Only persons specifically authorized in writing by the Club Management are permitted to distribute either without charge or offer for sale with the ground any newspapers, periodicals, any other articles or food and drink.
- Any person found damaging or defacing property within the ground will be subject to prosecution.
- The stadium management reserves the right to prohibit members of the public from playing ball games within the ground when to do so would give offence, cause obstruction or to endanger those participating in the games or others within the ground.
- Persons failing to comply with instructions from a steward or an authorized agent of the Stadium management may be ejected from the ground.
- For all games in the Vitality Blast, Charlotte Edwards Cup, The Hundred and any international matches played under the auspices of the ICC, the importation of alcohol into the stadium is strictly forbidden. The alcohol policy will be reviewed regularly, and additional alcohol bans or restrictions may be implemented without prior notice. The Stadium Management team reserves the right to amend any of its alcohol policies prior to or during any fixture. For County Championship games and One-Day Cup domestic games only, spectators will be allowed to bring into the stadium a maximum of 4x440ml containers of beer, lager or soft drinks or 1x70cl container of wine. For these games only, the containers may include cans. Please note glass is not permitted at any time. This regulation applies to initial entry into the ground – once a pass out has been given no alcohol is allowed into the ground.
- The Club management reserves the right to close bars in the ground at any time and restrict the sale of alcohol.
- Water bottles must be no larger than 1 litre in size. Anything larger will not be permitted entry.
- Umbrellas are permitted if they are no larger than a golfing umbrella and are deemed safe by the safety and security team upon ingress. Umbrellas with a pointed metal tip are not permitted.
- Smoking is not permitted in any of the stands, walkways or staircases. This rule also applies to the use of electronic cigarettes. There are designated areas for both smoking and extinguishing smoking materials at the rear of various stands around the ground.
- Guide Dogs are permitted for those who are hearing or visually impaired. No other dogs are permitted into the confines of Headingley Stadium.
- Fancy dress (including headgear), novelty, branded or promotional clothing is not permitted at the Headingley Cricket Ground with the exception of sections A & B (Fanzone) of the Western Terrace.
- Any person attempting to gain admission to, or being found within, a section of the ground designated for “Members Only” without the appropriate authorization may be ejected from the ground.
- To comply with the ECB’s Touts Out policy, any tickets purchased or given as complimentary must not be sold or passed onto any third party or unauthorised source, either online or in person. Doing so may result in tickets being cancelled or entry into the ground refused.
- The minimum age for a child (anyone under the age of 18) to attend an event unaccompanied is 14 years old. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult*. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to check before buying tickets that they comply with these age restrictions. Whilst there is a minimum age restriction in place, parents/carers are responsible for deciding whether their child (aged 14-17) needs to be accompanied by a responsible adult based on their general developmental maturity and their awareness of the potential risks. The Club recognises that some adults may require additional support whilst attending an event and may need accompanying. It is the responsibility of the adult and/or their carer to liaise with the Ticket Office to explore ways in which the Club can support them, be it with a companion ticket, accessibility seating and/or access to sensory spaces.

REFUND SCHEME – T20 INTERNATIONALS
If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) 9.5 overs or less of the only or last match of the day because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained – a full refund; (b) 10 overs to 19.5 overs of the only or last match of the day because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained – a 50% refund. In no other circumstances can money be refunded. In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by the Yorkshire County Cricket Club to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. If play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less due to adverse weather conditions on the day for which your ticket is valid and no result is achieved, those who have purchased a ticket using a credit or debit card will be automatically refunded the face value of the ticket within 28 days. Customers that pay cash or cheque through the ticket office or one of the cash turnstiles should send their ticket, with the payee’s name and address, to: The Ticket Office, Yorkshire County Cricket Club, The Pavilion, Kirkstall Lane, Leeds, LS6 3DP within 28 days of the scheduled completion of the match. County Championship & One-Day Cup (ODC)
For CC matches and group stages in the ODC at Headingley and outgrounds, if play is restricted to 19.5 overs or less due to adverse weather conditions on the day for which your ticket is valid, those who have purchased a ticket should retain the ticket so that it can be exchanged for another day’s CC or ODC group stage play during the current season. Nil value tickets cannot be exchanged unless they are a complimentary member ticket which will be indicated on the front of the ticket next to the value with the wording ‘Complimentary Member Ticket’.
In order to exchange your ticket you can either, email [email protected] with your name, the game you attended and the game you wish to attend, or alternatively bring your ticket to the Ticket Office, in the Yorkshire Cricket Centre, on the day of the chosen match and we will exchange this for a valid barcoded ticket for that day.
Knockout stages of the ODC at Headingley
If play is restricted to 19.5 overs or less due to adverse weather conditions on the day for which your ticket is valid and no result is achieved, those who have purchased a ticket using a credit or debit card will be automatically refunded the face value of the ticket within 28 days. Terms and Conditions of Hire
These terms form part of your legal Hire Agreement with The Yorkshire County Cricket Club Limited.
Notice Conditions:
1. The notice period to cancel the agreement is 1 month. If The Hirer gives notice during a month, we will treat it as if we received it on the first day of the following month and the notice period will run from that day.
2. If The Hirer wants to give notice, it must be in writing. We will confirm we have received your notice within 10 days of receiving it.
Payment Terms:
3. Payment must be made before your booking start time upon attending the Cricket Centre, please make yourself known to the Duty Officer on the front window.
4. If paying via invoice then this payment must be made within 30 days of receiving the invoice.
Specific Conditions:
5. Bookings must commence on time to enable the following session to run on schedule. Failure to do so will result in your session time being reduced.
6. There must only be 8 players in each lane when using the practice facilities. If the booking exceeds 8 players per lane then you will be asked to reduce your numbers or pay for another lane, however it is not guaranteed that there will be the availability to add another lane.
7. The Hirer and all staff, players or visitors associated with The Hirer that are using the venue are expected to respect the facilities made available to them, any unacceptable behavior could lead to this agreement being terminated.
8. The cost of any damage attributable to The Hirer must be recompensed to The Club in full.
9. The Hirer shall ensure that the hired part of the venue is vacant, clean and clear of property and litter prior to the end of each booking.
10. The Hirer shall ensure all attendees comply with signs and other published rules for users of the venue, for example relating to behavior, smoking and litter. You accept The Club reserves the right to exclude from the venue anyone breaking such rules and/or causing nuisance to other users or those in nearby premises.
11. The Club will not allow the sub-letting of pitches, sports hall, offices or meeting room space to another club, company or individuals.
12. Cancellation of bookings by The Hirer must be given at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise full payment will still be required. The Club reserve the right to cancel any booking and we will endeavour to give you at a minimum of 48 hours notice, however this amount of notice may not always be possible. A full refund or voucher code will be offered.
13. Safeguarding Children and Adults at Risk is of paramount importance. The Hirer should have their own safeguarding policies and ensure all relevant staff working with children or adults at risk have been through a safe recruitment practice, including obtaining the correct level DBS where required. The Hirer should ensure they meet their duties under current Safeguarding legislation. The Hirer should ensure their staff know their responsibilities for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk and know how to respond to concerns and report them appropriately. The Hirer should ensure they have the medical information for all children and adults at risk and emergency contact details for them.
14. The Hirer is to inform Yorkshire County Cricket Club in writing when booking and prior to attendance if any additional measures are required to accommodate participants with additional needs or requirements. Yorkshire County Cricket Club will make every effort to accommodate these where this is possible.
15. The Hirer and their attendees are under a duty to take reasonable care to avoid causing injury to other users and or employees of The Club and members of the public. Any accident or injury or damage must be reported to the Duty Manager immediately. You shall indemnify us and keep us indemnified against all claims, demands, actions or proceedings in respect of death of, or injury without limit, to any person
or damage to or direct or indirect loss or damage to property belonging to any person during the course of any Hire Agreement.
16. The Hirer and their attendees shall comply with the risk control measures forming part of the risk assessment for the venue, under the current Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations.
17. Portable Electrical appliances can only be brought into the venue with written consent from the Venue Operations Team and an in-date PAT test certificate or label.
18. The Hirer brings all personal belongings at their own risk. Yorkshire County Cricket Club accept no liability for any loss or damage to property or vehicles and their contents.
19. COVID-19 protocols issued by The Club must be met by The Hirer, including visitors not attending site if they should be self-isolating or have COVID-19 symptoms.
