The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is pleased to announce that registration for the Yorkshire Regional Cricket Boys Observation days for the 2023 season is NOW OPEN.

Regional Observation Days are the primary entry point for young cricketers to join the YCCC Performance Pathway Summer Programme and are intended for all boys who wish to trial for a place at Regional level. In 2022, Regional Observations were opened up for all to attend, which saw a record 1447 boys in attendance across the county, with over 400 going on to play Regional cricket over the summer.

Regional Cricket sits one step below County Age Group Cricket, with teams from each of Yorkshire’s four Regions competing against each other as well as against neighbouring counties and travelling to our very own Ampleforth Festival during the summer. Regional Observation Days are OPEN to any boy in the U10 to U15 age groups to attend.
