Yorkshire Cricket is pleased to announce a new partnership with specialist sports travel group Destination Sport.

The UK’s leading travel provider for elite sport organisations, Destination Sport Travel works on behalf of 40+ clients including British Cycling, England Rugby League, Football Association of Wales, Manchester City FC and Scottish Rugby. Within cricket, Destination Sport Travel enjoys partnerships with Cricket Scotland and Marylebone Cricket Club.

As part of the partnership, Destination Sport Travel will support Yorkshire Cricket’s travel and accommodation requirements for its men’s first team, and Northern Diamonds women’s team. This includes supporting the Northern Diamonds with a planned pre-season overseas training camp in Mumbai in March. The Diamonds will play against Central Sparks, alongside several friendly fixtures with local opposition as the squad continue their preparations ahead of the new season.

Northern Diamonds’ Hollie Armitage team-talks in a huddle prior to taking the field against the Sunrisers, in The Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, last season.

While its sister business, Sportsbreaks.com, which offers sports fans ticket-inclusive packages to many of the world’s biggest sporting events, will sponsor a Northern Diamond’s ‘Player of the Month’ Award. Northern Diamond supporters will be able to vote for their chosen Player of the Month via social media and in doing so, will be entered into the draw to win a Sportsbreaks.com voucher.
