Four Yorkshire players have been named across a 15-player squad and non-travelling reserves ahead of the England Women U19’s biggest ever winter programme of cricket that will culminate in an ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Nepal and Bangladesh.
Holly Garton and Amelia Oliver have both been named in the main squad whilst fellow Yorkshire youngster Lucy Randle-Bissell and Libby Fellows have been named as non-travelling reserves.

Garton has had a breakout summer with highlights including the wicket of Australian cricketing legend Meg Lanning in the Roses Vitality Blast clash at Old Trafford. This represents Garton’s first England selection.
Oliver has had England honours previously and forms part of a strong squad that will take on India in a five-match T20 series.
Following a series of training camps in the UK, the squad will travel to India in for the aforementioned series in November/December 2026, and at its completion they will remain in India for a further week to continue their outdoor preparations for the ICC tournament in January/February 2027.
The five players who are non-travelling reserves for this World Cup, including Fellowes and Randle-Bissell will take part in all training camps, including time in India after the T20 series.
Head coach Chris Guest said: “This is an exciting opportunity for this group of players who will be the best prepared squad we will have sent to the U19 Women’s World Cup.
“The aspiration as always is to win the U19 World Cup. Taking on board learnings from previous campaigns, we have gone about things slightly differently this time, ensuring that our players are getting some game time outdoors much closer to the tournament.
“The goals for the winter are dual focused. We want to win the World Cup, and we are also developing players and helping them prepare for what their career might look like in a professional environment.
“We’ve got a fully committed U19 staff who are really looking forward to improving our talented players, and there’s nothing that gives you more pride than singing the national anthem at a World Cup.”
A captain will be named at a later date.
