Specsavers County Championship action returns to Emerald Headingley in just four weeks time, marking the start of another red-ball campaign, with the ultimate aim of another Championship win.

The first XI squad are coming to the end of their pre-season preparations whilst on tour in Potchefstroom, having played one two-day fixture already in South Africa. Despite a disappointing 2017 red-ball campaign, hopes are high ahead of the new season.

Yorkshire have a proud history of producing home-grown talent with many of those that have come through the ranks going on to represent the Three Lions. Many of your Yorkshire heroes hail from the region and there is no better time to celebrate this feat, as well as the beauty of Yorkshire generally.
