The candidates

Ami Campbell

Ami Campbell showed every bit of experience and class in May. In the Metro Bank One Day Cup she scored an incredible 165* against Derbyshire and 60* against Leicestershire, as well as a crucial 40* in the opening game of the Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup.

Claudie Cooper

Cooper finished the Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup with seven wickets, the second most in the whole competition, as well as 2-4 in a brilliant spell during the Metro Bank One Day Cup against Derbyshire.

Olivia Thomas

A couple of very impressive performances from Thomas were vital to our success this month, including 4-16 against Derbyshire in the Metro Bank One Day Cup and 3-17 in the Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup against Staffordshire.

Lauren Winfield-Hill

Our captain and opener was impressively consistent throughout May, finishing as the top runscorer in the Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup with 176 runs from four games.
