It’s time to vote for your Sport Breaks Northern Diamonds Player of the Month for July, a month which saw the Diamonds only play a single fixture, featuring an outstanding performance from the returning Beth Langston.

Langston took 6-24 from 10 overs on her return after nearly two years out with an ACL injury, and she’s been rewarded with all three nominations for this month’s Player of the Month. Langston took six wickets in the Diamonds’ win over the Sunrisers, which all but secured the team a place in the Rachael Hayhoe Flint Trophy Finals Day.

Langston bowled for 2.4 runs per over on the way to the Diamonds bowling their opponents all out for 110.

The right-arm medium bowler took her first wicket for the Diamonds in the win against the Sunrisers since 2021, in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy final against Southern Vipers.
