We are seeking friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join the Yorkies Programme in 2025!

This year’s Yorkies will focus on specific roles that are tailored to the different key parts of matchdays at Headingley.

Those involved in volunteering for Yorkshire Cricket have loved the experience, and we’d love to add you to the team. One Yorkie said: “I volunteered at the ICC World Cups and met someone who was a volunteer at YCCC. It sounded like a happy, welcoming, fun team so I applied and seven seasons later I still enjoy being part of the cricket community at Headingley.”

The volunteer roles we’re recruiting for on domestic matchdays include:

  • Warm Welcomes
  • Accessibility Aids
  • Buggy Drivers
  • Hospitality Greeters

As part of the Yorkies programme, you’ll be the face of Yorkshire Cricket, helping cricket fans find their way around the stadium, greeting them, and making sure they have a fantastic matchday experience. Plus, you’ll be able to watch first-class cricket and enjoy the games!

We are also recruiting volunteers for Yorkshire Cricket’s international and the Hundred fixtures in the following roles:

  • Warm Welcomes
  • Accessibility Aids
  • Buggy Drivers
  • Hospitality Greeters
  • Media & Sensory Room Runner
  • Tri-Vision Operator

Approx. volunteering time 6 hours with breaks. Variable dependent on the role and volunteer availability. We try to be as flexible as possible.

For more information about the roles, please go to our  Volunteer Opportunities page.
