Ahead of our final trip of 2024 to Scarborough, our pre-match guide includes all the information spectators will need.  

Gates opening

9.15am – YCCC and SCC members.

9.30am – All other ticket holders.

Hours of play

Start of play: 11am
Lunch: 1pm-1.40pm

Tea: 3.40pm-4pm
Scheduled Close of Play: 6pm

Please listen out for announcements of any adjustments to these timings on the day.

Members Forum

On Day 2 of the game, our penultimate Members Forum will take place in the marquee from 9.30am-10.30pm with Colin Graves, Chair of the Club.

We ask that members are in place ahead of a prompt 9.30am start as the marquee will need to be emptied and turned around for corporate guests ahead of the start of play.

Memberships and Tickets

Tickets can be purchased for this fixture in advance via the below link or on the day from the Marine Road entrance only.

All other entrances will only accept pre-purchased tickets or member passes.

A64 Disruptions

Leeds Festival takes place this weekend with advertised road closures and diversions in place along the A64.

If you are planning on driving to Scarborough, we recommend reading this information carefully

A64 Closure Information

Seating

Pavilion – This area is strictly reserved for Scarborough CC and Yorkshire CCC members only.

Pavilion Balcony – This area is restricted to Club and County Officials, and Club 1863 members.

Pavilion Clubroom – Located on 2nd Floor of the Pavilion is open to all SCC and YCCC members.

Family Enclosure – Located in the Eastern section of the North Stand to the right of the press box.

The rest of the ground is general admission and spectators are welcome to bring deckchairs to be situated around the ground in appropriate locations.

Coverage

The game will be available via our live stream which will be available on our Youtube channel shortly before the start of play.

Retail

There will be a retail outlet open at the Eastern side of the ground near the North Marine Road turnstiles.

RESPECT

The Club has a RESPECT campaign for those attending any Yorkshire match at Headingley, Scarborough and York. If you have suffered or witness any anti-social behaviour at the match, please text the word Respect to 60650. Spectators can report this anonymously to a member of the team here at Headingley.

There is no place for anti-social behaviour in cricket or wider society.

Matchday Information

Multi-faith room

The Club’s Multi-Faith room is located behind the West Stand.

Please remove your shoes when entering the facility. Foot baths are available – please bring your own sliders. There are two separate facilities available.

The room is available to people of all faiths, and we ask that all spectators please respect everyone when using these facilities.

In the event of inclement weather:

Spectators are urged to consider the weather forecast before making their journey to Scarborough. As Scarborough is an open-air stadium, consideration must be given to sheltering from the rain. We encourage spectators to consider all weather conditions by bringing an umbrella, sun cream and their own bottled water. Scarborough Forecast 

Spectators are reminded that in the event of inclement weather prior to the game starting, any decision on the prospects of play will not be made by the Club, but the umpires. Should the Club need to communicate any prospects of play, this will be done at the earliest opportunity once the requisite information has been relayed to the Club by the umpires.

Yorkshire 2ndXI vs Durham - Second XI Championship

Winning the toss Durham asked Yorkshire to bat first. Tom Fraine and Yash Vagadia opened the innings but it was skipper, Vagadia who departed first being bowled by Glover for 1, 12-1.
