Yorkshire look to seal promotion with crucial County Championship run-in

With the Vitality County Championship resuming next week, Yorkshire have five pivotal fixtures as they look to secure a place in Division One in 2025. Just four points separate Yorkshire from the second promotion spot, and a win would propel Yorkshire ahead of Middlesex before they arrive at Headingley on Thursday 29 August.

Last time out in the County Championship in Scarborough, Yorkshire completed an innings victory against Gloucestershire, and come into the game on a two-match winning streak, so hopes are high that the White Rose can push on and secure promotion.
