Live: Yorkshire Men v Durham, MBODC
A Yorkshire win against Durham at Scarborough today - what would be their fifth in six games - would leave them on the verge of the knockouts in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup. Follow this page throughout the day to see if they can achieve it.
YORKSHIRE WIN!!!
Codi Yusuf lbw Jack White, 21.
White finishes with three-for, and Yorkshire win by 212 runs.
That’s Durham’s heaviest ever List A defeat by runs.
Yorkshire have moved to 20 points, further improving their already excellent net run-rate in the process, with this fifth win from six games.
They are nearly there for the knockouts.
Outstanding performance, with Fin Bean 102 not out and James Wharton 84 starring with the bat.
Durham 131-9, 34 overs

Skied to mid-on for a consolatory List A best score.

Ben Raine caught and bowled Dom Bess, 8.
Sharp return catch hands Bess his second wicket.
Durham 84-7, 24.1 overs
Will Rhodes caught Jack White bowled Adam Lyth, 27.
Caught at short third-man.
Lyth’s first wicket brings Ben Raine and George Drissell together.
In truth, it’s lashing down as far as Durham are concerned.
Durham 80-6, 23rd over
Will Rhodes 26 and George Drissell 20.
Durham are batting for respectability here.
Their 355-target has long gone.
Durham 48-6, 16 overs
Robbie Bowman caught James Wharton bowled Dom Bess, 3.
Caught at deep mid-wicket.
Yorkshire will claim a fifth win in six Group B games, strengthening their position at the top of Group B. Knockout cricket is looking very likely now.
Durham 42-5, 13.1 overs
Scott Borthwick bowled George Hill, 7.
Played on.
This has been a dream day for Yorkshire. As long as Coad pulls up ok having left the field earlier, this could hardly have gone better.
Durham still need 313 to win.
Durham 32-4, 9.5 overs
Ollie Robinson caught Fin Bean bowled Jack White, 14.
Caught at point.
Durham are sinking badly chasing 355.
Durham 17-3, 8.3 overs

Durham in all sorts of bother as dangerous Ackermann goes looking to uppercut.
The batter didn’t like the decision, however.
Durham 9-2, 4.5 overs
Emilio Gay caught Adam Lyth bowled Ben Coad, 9.
Edged a drive to second slip.
Coad has two and, chasing 355, Durham are in all sorts of trouble.
There is a but, though. Coad has walked straight off the field with what looks like a hamstring problem.
Durham 0-1, 2.1 overs
Alex Lees bowled Ben Coad, 0.
Dream start for Yorkshire. Lees – playing back – undone by one which doesn’t bounce as much as expected.
And White follows suit
Durham, chasing 355, are 0-0 after two overs.
Coad starts with a maiden
Now for Jack White.
Yorkshire's defence of 355 underway
Ben Coad is bowling to Alex Lees. He has Emilio Gay for company at the other end.
Yorkshire 354-7, 50 overs
Fin Bean finishes 102 not out off 57 balls and James Wharton contributed 84. Both were excellent.
In reaching his century in 53 balls, Bean has recorded Yorkshire’s fastest ever List A hundred.
BEAN HUNDRED!!!

A quite sensational maiden List A hundred from Fin Bean, who reaches three figures in 53 balls with 8x4s and 6x6s.
He has helped Yorkshire reach 335-6 in the 49th over.
This has got to be up there in the conversation of Yorkshire’s best innings of the summer. Can’t think of many better.
Yorkshire 320-6, 47.1 overs
Harry Duke caught behind Ollie Robinson bowled Codi Yusuf, 7.
He falls looking to attack.
Fin Bean has 93 and has been joined by Dom Bess.

Fin Bean has 71 and George Hill 4 as Yorkshire look to make hay in the last five overs.
Yorkshire 270-4, 42.4 overs
James Wharton bowled Ben Raine, 84.
An excellent innings is ended as Raine yorks him the ball after he reverse-scooped a boundary.
That ends an innings-transforming 101 stand with Fin Bean, who remains on 61.
George Hill in now.
Bean 50

What an innings this has been.
Fin Bean has raced to a fifty off 33 balls with 5x4s and 2x6s.

Yorkshire 123-2, 25 overs
The players take drinks, and Yorkshire are in good order at the halfway mark of their innings.
James Wharton has 27 and Will Luxton 23.
The White Rose county will be looking at 300 plus from here if things go well.
Two games which matter identically placed
The other game in Group B today which has relevance to Yorkshire is Lancashire versus Warwickshire at Liverpool.
Not often you say this as a Yorkshire fan, but a Red Rose win would be the best outcome.
Well, the two games are advancing in similar fashion.
Yorkshire are 94-2 in the 20th over here against Durham, and Lancashire are 93-2 in the 21st over.
Yorkshire 81-2, 16.1 overs
Adam Lyth caught Sam Conners bowled Will Rhodes, 37.
Lyth falls as he tries to help a shortish ball around the corner and can only top-edge to deep backward square-leg.
James Wharton in now alongside Will Luxton, 9.
Good pace and carry
The pitch is pretty much what you’d expect from a usual Scarborough surface. There doesn’t seem to be much sideways movement.
Yorkshire are building an excellent platform here at 81-1 in the 16th over.
Adam Lyth has 37 and Will Luxton 9.
Yorkshire 70-1, 13th over
Adam Lyth has 29 and Will Luxton 6.
They are being watched by a sizeable crowd here at North Marine Road. It looks like the best we’ve seen at this venue this summer.

Caught behind pulling at a short ball from the new-ball seamer.

Settled start for the White Rose
Yorkshire are 26-0 in the sixth over.
Adam Lyth has 21 and Imam-Ul-Haq 2.
Yorkshire 10-0, 3rd over
After that early boundary for Adam Lyth, it’s been a fairly quiet start to the game.
Up and running...
Yorkshire 5-0 after two balls, including an Adam Lyth boundary to deep point first ball against Ben Raine.
Durham win and bowl first

Good morning...
From Scarborough, where it’s dry but overcast ahead of today’s One-Day Cup clash with Durham.
Yorkshire are bidding for their fifth win in six games today to cement their place at the top of an incredibly competitive Group B table.
It gives you an idea of how jam-packed things are that should Yorkshire be beaten today, and Warwickshire beat Lancashire at Liverpool, there would be five times locked together on 16 points heading into the final two rounds of action on Sunday and Tuesday.
But let’s look at things glass half full. Should Yorkshire win, they would be almost there in terms of a top-three finish for knockout qualification. Their net run-rate is significantly better than any other side in the group, giving them that extra advantage.
The dream scenario would be to finish top and advance directly to the semi-finals. For that, they will need to keep winning. Two wins may seal that, but it could be that three are required against Durham today and then Sussex and Kent away on Sunday and Tuesday.
Let’s try and get the first task sorted and seal qualification.
Durham are in the mix themselves. They have played a game more than Yorkshire. This is their penultimate fixture, and they have won three and lost three so far.
They will head to Scarborough on the back of a win over Lancashire at Liverpool on Wednesday when they chased 321 to win by four wickets. They will likely have Alex Lees and Will Rhodes in their side today, two former White Rose County Championship title winners.
You can read our preview for today’s game via the link above. That’s with captain Dom Bess.
We get going at 11am. Enjoy the day.
