6.02pm We have a little over three overs remaining in the day’s play. Yorkshire are 250-11. Fraine 27 and Tattersall 9.

In terms of tomorrow, play will take place completely behind closed doors. No live stream will be available or media in attendance. This is due to operational reasons.

5.46pm Brook gone! Caught at mid-wicket having been surprised by extra bounce from Coughlin, 3. 237-11.

4.58pm Thompson gone! Caught at third slip by Potts off Rushworth for an impressive 32. 178-10. Fraine back in.

4.27pm A calming period for Yorkshire either side of tea. Malan and Thompson have shared 42. Malan 25 and Thompson 18. Yorkshire are 155-9 after 64 overs.

Tea report Yorkshire endured a tough afternoon with the bat against Durham at Emerald Headingley, losing six wickets for only 14 runs at one stage.

On the first day of their friendly, the White Rose slipped from 99-3 to 114-9, three of which went to Ben Raine and two to fellow seamer Paul Coughlin.

The friendly nature of this clash meant new signing Dawid Malan was given the chance to return to the crease having only scored 12 off 23 balls during the morning session.

He came back with the score at 108-6 and reached tea unbeaten on 15. Yorkshire will begin the evening session on 139-9 from 57 overs, with more players being given a second chance to bat if more wickets fall. Jordan Thompson is unbeaten on 13.

Adam Lyth – Yorkshire’s top-scorer with 60 – was the first afternoon wicket to fall when he chipped Matthew Salisbury to mid-on, leaving the score at 99-4 in the 36th over.

Harry Brook was lbw to Raine, who also had George Hill caught behind and Jonny Tattersall lbw (109-7 in the 43rd over).

Matthew Waite was then well caught at third slip by a diving Matty Potts off Paul Coughlin in the 45th over before the same bowler had Matthew Fisher lbw in the 47th – 113-9.

Malan bettered his morning score of 12 shortly before the tea break, when he was facing the part-time off-spin of former Yorkshire batsman Alex Lees.

Lees has only taken two first-class wickets in his career, Malan being the first during the 2016 County Championship title-decider between Yorkshire and Middlesex at Lord’s when a final day declaration was being set up.

3.44pm Tea. Yorkshire have reached 139-9 from 57 overs. Malan 15 and Thompson 13. Durham’s session – they claimed 6-14 at one stage.

3.03pm Fisher lbw to Coughlin, and Yorkshire’s batting troubles continue today. 113-9 now.

3.01pm England have won third Test, and with it the series, against the West Indies at Old Trafford. The tourists have been bowled out for 129, losing by 269 runs. Stuart Broad has claimed four more wickets, leaving him with 10-for in the match. Great fightback from England after losing the first Test.

2.53pm Waite gone! Excellent diving catch by Potts at third slip sees the back of Waite, with Coughlin striking. 109-8.

2.44pm Yorkshire have lost their fourth wicket for the addition of only 10, with Tattersall lbw to Raine for 9. 109-7 now. Matthew Waite the next man in.

2.37pm George Hill is caught behind off Ben Raine for one, and Yorkshire are 108-6. The friendly nature of this clash means Dawid Malan has returned to the crease for a second bat. Earlier, he was out for 12 off 23 balls. Jonny Tattersall has 8.

2.18pm Brook gone! Raine traps him lbw for 10. Yorkshire 99-5 in the 37th over.

2.10pm OUT! Lyth is caught at mid-on by Raine diving forwards off Salisbury. Gone for 60. 99-4.

Lunch report Durham have claimed three Yorkshire wickets before lunch during the opening day of the two-day friendly at Emerald Headingley.

Dawid Malan fell for 12 off 23 balls on debut having come to the crease at number four, with the White Rose reaching lunch on 77-3 from 29 overs.

This game was due to start yesterday, only for the entire day to be washed out by rain.

Now, the game will play out as normal today and continue tomorrow in a more informal manner, more of a competitive training session.

Yorkshire lost Tom Kohler-Cadmore for nine, bowled offering no shot to Chris Rushworth (15-1 after nine overs).

Will Fraine then edged Matty Potts to first slip – 27-2 in the 17th over, bringing new signing Malan to the middle.

It took him five balls to get off the mark, and he went on to hit two boundaries before being well caught at second slip following an attempted drive at Matthew Salisbury, leaving the hosts at 56-3 in the 24th over.

Adam Lyth has continued his impressive start to the summer, backing up Friday’s Roses friendly century with an unbeaten 41

Harry Brook reached lunch on seven not out.

1.02pm Lunch: Yorkshire 77-3 after 29 overs. Lyth has 41 and Brook 7. Decent morning for Durham, who have removed TKC, Fraine and Malan.

12.39pm Malan gone! Caught at second slip by Bedingham off Salisbury for 12. Yorkshire 56-3 in the 24th over.

12.23pm Over at the Test at Old Trafford, Stuart Broad has clinched his 500th Test wicket – Kraigg Brathwaite. The former Yorkshire opener was also Jimmy Anderson’s 500th career victim during the last tour here. The West Indies are 78-4, needing 321 more for victory. Six more wickets for England to take the series 2-1.

12.09pm Fraine gone! Potts gets him caught at first slip by Dickson for 3. Yorkshire 27-2 in the 17th. Malan strides to the crease on debut.

11.15am Yorkshire are 7-0 without loss following a lovely cover driven boundary just now from Kohler-Cadmore against Rushworth. We’re in the fifth over.

10.31am Yorkshire will be batting today, and here is the squad: Birkhead, Duke and Tattersall all sharing keeping duties. Brook, Fisher, Fraine, Hill, Kohler-Cadmore, Leech, Lyth, Malan, Patterson c, Poysden, Shutt, Thompson, Waite.

Good morning from Emerald Headingley, where we begin our second and final friendly against Durham having been delayed by yesterday’s rain.

Quite how this match will play out from here is TBC at the moment. We will update as and when possible, although it is expected Yorkshire will begin this game with bat in hand.

That means an early chance to see debutant Dawid Malan at the crease, approximately nine months after signing for the White Rose county.

While this is Yorkshire’s second pre-season friendly, it is Durham’s one and only. Alex Lees will be returning to his old stomping ground.

We begin at 11am. Enjoy the day.
