Weather updates from Headingley ahead of the England-Pakistan IT20.

17:35pm – Following the rain affected Vitality Men’s IT20 between England and Pakistan at Headingley on Wednesday 22nd May 2024, the refund scheme will now take effect.

As the match was abandoned without a ball being bowled, you are entitled to a full refund on the value of your match ticket. This falls in line with our ‘Raincheck policy’ within our ticket terms and conditions.

Refunds will be processed automatically by Yorkshire County Cricket Club to the original payment card.

If you paid for all or part of your order using credit, this amount will be placed back on your account as credit.

Premium Experience lead bookers will be contacted directly with specific details of how their packages will be refunded.

16:22pm – Update from the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation.

15:43pm – The rain is continuing to fall in LS6.

14:38pm – Still raining in Headingley – current update from the ECB.

13.29pm – A further update from Headingley.

13.13am – At the moment we are unable to communicate an update on a potential start time for the England v Pakistan Men’s IT20 tonight, until we have match officials and umpires on site to inspect.

For this match there is a 30-minute provision of extra time available to facilitate a five over game.

We will update you as soon as there is any further information.

13.10pm – Update on travel for the fixture.

12.10pm – Unfortunately the rain has continued to pour in Leeds. No official update but decisions and updates will be provided on this live blog.

11.00am – The rain has been persistently heavy here in LS6 for some time.

9.34am – Rain started early this morning at Headingley.
