“We weren’t quite at our best, you know, in the field. Having said that, we fought hard,” he said.
“We came up against James Vince, who played a magnificent innings. He was potentially the difference between the two teams.
“He’s a serious talent, and he played magnificently. When someone plays that well, it’s hard to match it.”

Ouch! Tattersall has just driven a catch to Rossouw at short cover, who fails to get a paw on it and it hits him flush in the mush. Tattersall then goes to check on the fielder and seems to lead the search for a tooth or two.

Good morning from a dry and bright Ageas Bowl.
It’s semi-final time. Yorkshire are bidding for a sixth straight win in the RL50, with Thursday’s superb win over Essex at Chelmsford still fresh in the memory.
Hampshire finished top of the South, winning five of their eight matches, to qualify direct for this semi-final. But Yorkshire actually had a better record despite finishing third in the North. The Vikings also won five of their eight games, accruing a better net run-rate.
Both teams are without a few players today.
Yorkshire have Che Pujara back from India Test duty, but they are still without their England players. Hampshire are without injured trio Mason Crane, Brad Taylor and Tom Alsop. They do, however, have Sam Northeast back from injury.
We start at 11am.
