Yorkshire’s D40 Quest side were beaten by six wickets at home to Cheshire on Sunday.
The White Rose county’s Disability first XI lost out at Higham CC in Barnsley having posted 190 all out, including a top score of 44 from Owen Morris.
Opener Daniyal Zaman also contributed 40, and those two had helped the county into a position of health at 119-2 in the 20th of their 40 overs.
But Stephen Redfern struck three times for Cheshire, whose first win in four games was achieved without alarm thanks largely to opener Josh Brown’s 78 off 53 balls.
James O’Conner claimed two wickets for Yorkshire, but unfortunately they were only consolatory strikes as the county suffered a second defeat in three games, this confirmed with just under five overs remaining.
Yorkshire are next in action at home to Wales on Sunday July 12.
Meanwhile, the county’s S9 softball side won their Roses clash with Lancashire by 12 runs at home on Sunday, their first win in three Group B games.
