Yorkshire are wrapping up their season with a One-Day Cup clash with champions Lancashire today, with the start time due to be 10.30am. As things stand, we’re looking all set. The sun’s shining as I type.
Both sides are out of knockout contention, with the main storyline today being the retirement of former England fast bowler Kate Cross, who lines up for the Red Rose. Cross is calling time on her decorated career, with Lancashire all-rounder Fi Morris also doing the same today.
Yorkshire are looking for win number four in this competition and their second against Lancashire having won at Emirates Old Trafford back in April. Yorkshire have won two Roses games across the competitions this summer, including in the Vitality Blast, to Lancashire’s one.
If the White Rose can win again, it would end a progressive season in style.
