Following the announcement that the ECB are hopeful of rescheduling the Vitality IT20 between England and Australia with no spectators, please find below information on Emerald Headingley’s exchange and refund scheme.

Despite disappointingly missing out on this fixture in 2020, Yorkshire County Cricket Club are delighted to offer ticket buyers the chance to transfer their tickets for next summer at the same price.

In 2021, Emerald Headingley will host a Vitality IT20 between England and Pakistan, and a Test Match between England and India. To ensure that 2020 ticket buyers don’t miss out next year, the following options are available…

1)     Receive a credit note for 2021
In 2021, Emerald Headingley will be hosting a IT20 between England and Pakistan, and the much-anticipated Test Match between England and India. Due to the demand for tickets, Emerald Headingley will be running a ballot for both fixtures. Those who take a credit note will BEAT THE BALLOT and receive PRIORITY ACCESS for the IT20 and tickets across the first four days of the Test Match.

Those who choose the option will be given a priority window to purchase their tickets ahead of the ballot closing. If you are unable to make this date, your credit will also be valid for all domestic matches or memberships at Emerald Headingley during the 2021 season. If you are unable to use this credit in 2021, the Club will then issue a full refund.

2)     Receive a full refund
As the match will not take place at the ground for which this ticket is valid, ticket buyers are entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value.

If you opt for a full refund, this will be made automatically by Yorkshire County Cricket Club to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque for those who paid originally by cheque or cash. Please allow 30 days for your refund to be processed.

All ticket buyers will receive an email from the Club. This will be sent to the email address used for the purchase.

At the moment, you don’t have to do anything as we await a revised schedule from the ECB. When this schedule is announced, we will contact ticket buyers with their options.
