The Role

In 2024 we have a number of roles for our Yorkies, from welcoming fans on arrival to farewelling them at the end of the match. We also have a number of specialist roles including managing our new sensory room and supporting our members with any questions they may have on the day.

About You

Becoming a Yorkie is a great way to gain invaluable knowledge and skills!

No previous experience necessary.

You are friendly, passionate, reliable and ready to help out fans and guests alike.

All applicants must consent to a basic DBS check as part of our safer recruitment practices.

Successful applicants will be required to attend one initial induction session and comply with our Volunteer Code of Conduct

Yorkies shifts are typically 6 hours with a 45 minute break.

Please note: Yorkies will not be permitted to sit in the stands and watch the match.

In addition to gaining new skills and experience, all Yorkies will be provided with a meal voucher and a uniform to wear on the day

Yorkies will also be entitled to a ticket to an upcoming domestic fixture at Headingley Cricket Ground in 2024.

Our May opportunities close at the end of April but stay tuned for further opportunities to be released throughout the year.
