Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s 2021 Annual General Meeting was broadcast at 10am today, with the results of the Members’ votes announced.

Summary of results

Item 4. To receive and approve the Accounts, together with the Independent Auditor’s Report thereon, for the year ended 31st December 2020.

681 in favour, 5 against

Item 8. To re-elect as President, Mr Geoff Cope.

699 in favour, 5 against

Item 9. To announce the result of the elections to the Board for the following nominees:

a) Mr Trevor Strain – 655 in favour, 15 against
b) Mr Hanif Malik – 661 in favour, 15 against
c) Mr Martyn Moxon – 661 in favour, 31 against

Item 10. To consider a special resolution to amend the rules of the Club, in accordance with the documents circulated with the notice of the meeting.

Rules change one – 642 in favour, 10 against
Rule change two – 627 in favour, 24 against

Item 11. To announce the result of the election to the Members’ Committee.

Re-election of Howard Ray – 639 in favour, 26 against

Item 12. To appoint Garbutt and Elliot Audit Limited as auditor of the Club until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting of the Club at which the accounts of the year ending 31st December 2021 are laid.
