The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a three-year partnership with NIC Services Group LTD to become the Club’s new front of shirt sponsor for the LV= County Championship.

As part of the partnership, the Leeds based company will be prominent across Yorkshire’s live First-Class online coverage, have a significant presence at Emerald Headingley, Scarborough and York, and provide cleaning and FM services at Emerald Headingley for the next five years.

NIC is one of the largest privately owned facility management providers in the country, employing thousands of people throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. A business that has extensive experience of the catering, cleaning, security, pest control and waste management industry, NIC have over 40 operational centres across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Yorkshire’s newest partner was recently named in the Financial Times’ 1,000 Fastest Growing Companies In Europe for the second year running due to its significant revenue growth. Other accolades have included being recognised for the second year running by the London Stock Exchange as one of the ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’.

Andy Dawson, The Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s Commercial Director said: “We are absolutely delighted and very proud that we will be wearing the NIC brand on the front of the County Championship shirts for the next three years.

“John Spencer and his team deserve immense praise on how they have gone about creating such a great culture within a business and put the foundations in place for it to grow so big, so quickly.

“John and his family are huge supporters of Yorkshire County Cricket Club and it’s always a delight to watch a few overs of cricket with them. I will never forget when we showed John the County Championship trophy when we won it in 2014 for the first time in thirteen years. He was overwhelmed with joy and excitement, therefore seems fitting that his company name is now on the shirt that will be competing to win that trophy once again.”

John Spencer, Group Chairman at NIC Services Group LTD said: “We are delighted with the partnership and we are proud to sponsor this great club.

“On a personal level I have supported the club since I was a young boy. My family and I have so many great memories and friends through our involvement with Yorkshire County Cricket Club, and the club has a very special place in our hearts.”
