The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation – the official community arm of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club – is proud to announce a new partnership with Barrett Steel to deliver the upcoming Park Avenue Bradford cricket Festival Week.
The festival, starting today (Monday, 31 July) and running until Sunday, 6 August, will feature a range of cricket activities and events at Park Avenue Bradford Cricket Ground. There will also be a range of junior and women’s activity going on throughout the week.
Some of the highlights include the showcase fixture with The Yorkshire County Cricket Club hosting a match between a MCC XI and a Yorkshire Asian select XI on Tuesday, 1 August, starting at 11am which will provide a great opportunity to see a good game of cricket and eat some of Bradford’s finest food. There will also be a special multi-faith celebration day on the Friday.
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation’s mission is to create community without boundaries and to create opportunities for everyone to participate in cricket, regardless of their background or ability.
