Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a partnership with Her Game Too Cricket, a voluntary organization dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can enjoy and participate in sports without fear of discrimination.

Her Game Too, who operate in football, rugby, ice hockey, and cricket, raise awareness of issues faced by female fans, players, and officials within the game, as well as provide an anonymous reporting platform for any sexist incidents.

Our partnership with Her Game Too is a vital part of our One Club, One Rose, One Yorkshire identity, which addresses points outlined in Building Audiences for Women’s Cricket Strategy.

Gavin Hamilton, YCCC General Manager of Cricket, said “Partnering with Her Game Too really resonates with what we at the club are all about, making cricket accessible and enjoyable for all. This new era, with both men’s and women’s teams representing the Yorkshire Rose, is the perfect time to partner with Her Game Too.”

Paige Caunce, Head of Her Game Too Cricket, said: “Having partnered and worked alongside many clubs and universities across the county, it brings us great pleasure in announcing a partnership with Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
“We are encouraged by the work that the club have been doing to inspire and enable more women and girls to pick up a bat and ball in Yorkshire.
“As a fan-led campaign, seeing the launch of YCCC’s Building Audiences for Women’s Cricket Strategy is also incredibly refreshing. We are excited about working together with the club and playing our part to increase the number of women and girls watching cricket, both Men’s and Women’s.
