The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a Skilled Maintenance Operative for The Yorkshire County Cricket Club. In this role, you will help ensure the facilities at the world renowned Headingley Cricket Ground are up to standard to host international and domestic cricket. This role will require you to be directly involved in the upkeep and maintenance of the facilities at Headingley Cricket Ground to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet all current health and safety legislation. This is an extremely varied maintenance role meaning no day will the same as the other. You will be a key player in driving effectiveness within our winning culture, helping to deliver best in class PPM’s and reactive maintenance projects at the Headingley Cricket Ground. You will be a member of the Operations team and work with third parties, such as contractors to make sure that all the facilities are fit for purpose and meet all current health and safety legislation. We are seeking someone with hands on experience and a good level of knowledge to help further strengthen our Maintenance team.

About You

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and skills:
• Achieved (or willingness to achieve in 12 months) a qualification in plumbing, wood, ground or electric works.
• Prior experience of managing maintenance requests at large events/venues
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and processes
