When Jonny Bairstow made 174 in a Royal London One-Day Cup game early in 2017 the score was noted as being Yorkshire’s third-highest in all limited-overs cricket, just one run fewer than the second-placed innings. As with a previous article on team totals, Paul Dyson looks at how most of the highest scores have come in recent seasons and also looks back at an early high Innings.

During the 2017 season three of Yorkshire’s batsmen made scores of 140 or more in List A cricket. This brings the total number of such innings to 11 and includes a new name – Jonny Bairstow – in third place as the following table shows.
