The board of directors (“Board”) of The Yorkshire County Cricket Club Limited (the “Club”) is delighted to open nominations for members to join its Members’ Representative Group (“MRG”) as a Member Elected Member. Pursuant to the rules of the Club (“Rules”), members are invited to complete and submit the enclosed application form and return to the Club, by post or email, by no later than 10am Friday 3 April 2026.

To be eligible, members must gain the endorsement of no fewer than two members. Applicants must also be aged 18 years or older and have been a member of the Club for at least 24 months prior to application.

The Board and MRG are committed to diversity and actively encourage applications from members from groups that are currently under-represented at the Club or more broadly across the sector. Applications from women, people with disabilities and people from ethnic minority groups are encouraged in particular.

In accordance with the Rules, all applications will be reviewed by the nominations committee of the Board (“Nominations Committee”). Shortlisted applicants may be asked to attend an interview with a selection panel. Shortlisted applicants may also be asked to consent to due diligence checks, provide references and to declare interests as part of the selection process.

Following the selection phase, the Nominations Committee will recommend candidates to the Board to be nominated for election to the MRG by the members at the 2026 annual general meeting, which is currently scheduled to take place on Saturday 23 May 2026.
