There is no better illustration of the competitive and hard-fought nature of England versus Pakistan encounters than the images of two of cricket’s most respected players, Alastair Cook and Misbah-ul-Haq shaking hands at the end of the final Test at The Oval in the summer of 2016, where the enthralling four-match series ended in a 2-2 draw.
