Rarely has this rivalry provided so much excitement in almost every fixture across all formats throughout a campaign, and thankfully Yorkshire were able to come out on top in the ‘mini series’.
The White Rose won a one-day match at Emirates Old Trafford in early May but had lost a breathtaking T20 Blast clash at the same venue just a few days earlier, in late July.
