Scorecard

On winning the toss Yorkshire batted first and got off to a steady start being 36-1 after the powerplay, Ben Birkhead having been bowled for 17. Will Luxton joined Matthew Revis and they added 38 at a run a ball before Revis was bowled for 40. However from that position boundaries were in short supply and Yorkshire closed on 134-6, Luxton making 22.

Sussex, fielding a vastly more experienced line up, took only 11.1 overs to reach their target as Australian international Travis Head was 66 not out (8 fours and 3 sixes). Our only success being the stumping of Phil Salt off Jack Shutt – however the opener had made 58 from 25 balls including 6 fours and 4 maximums.

Sussex win by 9 wickets.
