Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC) is excited to announce the signing of Rebecca Duckworth on a two-year contract.
Duckworth, 24, has played senior regional cricket for the last five years with both the Northern Diamonds and Lancashire Thunder.
Preston-born Duckworth previously played county cricket for Lancashire, debuting for them in 2017 having come through the Red Rose age-groups, before making the move across the Pennines to play for the Diamonds ahead of the 2023 season.
The right-hander ended the most recent summer in style with an excellent 51, batting at number three, in a thrilling 50-over win for the Diamonds against Southern Vipers at Headingley.

Duckworth, who has just finished her university studies, and has signed her maiden professional contract, said: “I’m very excited and proud to have signed for Yorkshire.
“It’s a big step in my career and I’m looking forward to joining up with the team.
“I’ve absolutely loved my time at Headingley so far and I’m pleased I can finally put my full commitment into cricket and give it everything.
“Being at a club like Yorkshire where I’ll be surrounded by amazing staff and coaches, as well as some of the best players out there, I feel that I have everything I need to fulfil my potential.”

Duckworth graduated with a Sports Science degree at Liverpool John Moores and followed that with a Masters at Manchester Metropolitan University.
She added: “It’s an exciting time in the women’s game, and I’m desperate to contribute to Yorkshire success.
“I’m really looking forward to playing consistently, playing how I want to play – which is scoring runs in an aggressive manner – and ultimately winning games.”
Yorkshire Women’s head coach Rich Pyrah said: “Rebecca is an exciting young talent, and we’re thrilled to have her join us.
“She showed last year that she can score runs when it matters, and we feel she has a lot of potential.
“We’re excited for Rebecca to come to Yorkshire to learn and grow as a player and we’re looking forward to starting to work with her.”
Everyone at Yorkshire Cricket would like to welcome Rebecca to the Club and wish her the very best of luck with Yorkshire Women.
