The Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC) is delighted to announce the signing of Dutch international Sterre Kalis on an initial three-year contract for Yorkshire Women.
The classy batter has played for the Northern Diamonds for the last five seasons and was part of the team which won the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy title at Lord’s in 2022.
Kalis has experience of playing domestic cricket all over the world, from playing in all editions of the Hundred to playing professional state and club cricket in Australia, as she will do this winter with Sydney club Gordon.

On the international stage, Kalis, 25, has 43 caps to her name in one-day and T20 international cricket for the Netherlands making her debut at only 14-years-old.
Kalis, 25, said: “I’m delighted to be at such a big club like Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Signing here is a really proud moment for me.
“I feel at home here, and I love the people here. This club has been really good for me from the very beginning, and I can’t wait for that to continue.
“Yorkshire has exciting plans for the next few years, going into Tier One the season after next. We have a lot of talent in this group, including the younger players coming through.
“I cannot wait to continue my journey with the Club and create new winning moments with this talented Yorkshire Women team.”
